Technology volunteers needed

Community members and allies:

With federal recognition of The Frederick Center as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we now have free access to the Google suite of applications known as Google Apps.  We are looking for volunteers to implement solutions on that platform, and to research solutions elsewhere.
 
If you have experience in any of below products/areas and wish to volunteer please send a note to thefrederickcenter@gmail.com.  Kickoff  meet/greet/review Tuesday 9/23 7-9pm at the home of Brian Walker, out toward Jefferson off Rte 340. Under age 18 must have a parent/guardian also attend. If you can't make this kickoff  meeting, but have talents to offer, please still respond. 

We are in need of volunteers for the following tasks:
  • Migrate our current gmail address to thefrederickcenter.org domain Google Mail.  Setup various email boxes for our programs, and set appropriate security for users of the system.  Set forwarding filters and other rules.
  • Setup of Google Groups to manage our listserv requirements for sending out bulk notices.  Configure self-signup for multiple lists (general, Pink Drinks, youth, organizations, committees, etc).
  • Configure multiple Google Calendars for use by public, board, and programs.  Appropriate security.  Configure a reminder system for leaders.
  • Research/Implement a volunteer signup system.  Both for one-time events like In The Street or presenting a program to the Youth Group, and for recurring events like hosting monthly Pink Drinks.  Must include gathering of volunteer info, automatic reminders, and management function/security.  We realize the best choice may be a paid service.
  • Integrate our existing Google Sites website with Paypal/Square for dues payment and donations.  Produce receipts and management reports.
  • Configure our existing Google Sites website with security rights so that designated people can update specific parts/pages of the site.
  • Configure our existing Google Sites website with manageable tables/lists of resource links to other websites.  Appropriate security.
  • Research a membership database, including renewal reminders and a payment means.  We realize the best choice may be a paid service.
  • Research a fundraising database system.  We realize the best choice may be a paid service.
  • Configuration of Google Drive for centralized document storage of documents.  Appropriate security.
  • Configuration of YouTube channel(s).
  • Configuration of Google Voice to route calls to appropriate volunteers.
