Peer-to-peer support is the foundation by which The Frederick Center built its organization. We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds!

Beginning at age nine, we offer programming that offers both formal and informal gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and non-LGBTQ+ caregivers. Click below and find our available groups and meeting times.

Frederick Pride!

SAVE THE DATE for next year’s FREDERICK PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL! THE ANTICIPATION BEGINS for Frederick Pride 2027!

On the final weekend in June 2027, the local LGBTQ+ community gathers together alongside our friends, families, and allies to celebrate and uplift each other with love and pride.

On Friday, 6/25/2027, join us for our third annual Frederick Pride Parade at 7:00pm! We will be marching throughout the streets of Downtown Frederick with color, music, and tangible queer joy.

On Saturday, 6/26/2027 from 11:00am-6:00pm, Frederick Pride welcomes you to beautiful Carroll Creek in the heart of Downtown Frederick to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ community.

Join us to enjoy drag performances, a food court of the best local food trucks, hand-picked musical guests, hundreds of local vendors and nonprofit organizations, a designated beverage garden with the top local breweries and wineries, a pride shop, a children’s area, and more!

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Frederick Pride, so mark your calendars for June 25th and 26th, 2027!

Join us at The Frederick Center for a Magic: the Gathering meetup! Build your deck, battle your friends, make new friends, battle THOSE friends! From 3:00-6:00pm, TFC is open for battles. We hope to see you there!

Queer Craft Nights ~ Nov & Dec

Welcome to Queer Craft Night, a social event at The Frederick Center! Join fellow queer crafters, friends, and allies, to BYOC (bring your own craft) and socialize. From 6-9pm, the first floor of the Center will be filled with crafting. Any and all crafts are welcome, from knitting and crochet to painting and digital art. We hope to see you there!

TFC’s Winter Ball

Come celebrate the end of the year at The Frederick Center with whimsy, drag performances, dancing, good food and drink! Come to The Frederick Center's first ever Winter Ball! It is a celebration of the winter season with friends new and old! Meet and take pictures with Jack(ie) Frost and her wife Solstice! Enjoy delicious food and drinks of various types! Dance the night away with Capital DJ Chase! Plus, for their first appearance as a group, a drag talent group caroling the night away, featuring the wonderful talent of Black Eyed Suzy! This event 21+ due to alcohol being served. On December 12th, all adults, allies, LGBTQ+ folks, friends, and family are welcome to join us to dance the night away! Join us for the Winter Ball.
