Peer-to-peer support is the foundation by which The Frederick Center built its organization. We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds!

Beginning at age nine, we offer programming that offers both formal and informal gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and non-LGBTQ+ caregivers. Click below and find our available groups and meeting times.

Frederick Pride!

SAVE THE DATE for this year’s FREDERICK PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL! THE ANTICIPATION BEGINS for Frederick Pride 2026!

On the final weekend in June 2026, the local LGBTQ+ community gathers together alongside our friends, families, and allies to celebrate and uplift each other with love and pride.

On Friday, 6/26/2026, join us for our second annual Frederick Pride Parade at 7:00pm! We will be marching throughout the streets of Downtown Frederick with color, music, and tangible queer joy.

On Saturday, 6/27/2026 from 11:00am-6:00pm, Frederick Pride welcomes you to beautiful Carroll Creek in the heart of Downtown Frederick to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ community.

Join us to enjoy drag performances, a food court of the best local food trucks, hand-picked musical guests, hundreds of local vendors and nonprofit organizations, a designated beverage garden with the top local breweries and wineries, a pride shop, a children’s area, and more!

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Frederick Pride, so mark your calendars for June 26th and 27th!

Magic: the Gathering ~ July + August

Join us at The Frederick Center for Magic: the Gathering meetups to play Commander! From 3-6pm on Sundays 7/19, 8/2, 8/16, & 8/30, find friends, play Magic, and build your deck! We hope to see you there!

Queer Craft Nights ~ July + August

Craft alongside fellow queer crafty folks on Fridays July 17th, 31st and August 14th and 28th at The Frederick Center! From 6-9pm, bring your own craft, socialize with friends, and enjoy community in an affirming space. We hope to see you there!

Sapphic Dance ~ August

Sapphic Summer will be on Saturday, August 15th from 5-9pm! Dance in a safe and affirming space with fellow women-loving-women! This edition of Sapphic Dance is 18+, so there will be no alcohol allowed. Feel free to grab a drink at a local bar and then join us! As aways, Sapphic Dance is donate-what-you-can. We'll see you there!
